Call for postdoctoral fellowship (PNPD-CAPES) in Mathematics at IMECC/Unicamp
The Graduate Program in Mathematics of the Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Scientific Computing (IMECC) of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) is opening applications for a postdoctoral position with PNPD/CAPES scholarship starting from February, 2020.
We are looking for candidates with strong and proven research potential. A member from the Graduate Program in Mathematics at IMECC-Unicamp, who will be the candidate’s Supervisor, must support the application. The list of researchers of the Program can be found in

The scholarship consists of a monthly amount of 4,100.00 Brazilian Real (tax-free) plus an additional travel grant. The position has a duration of 1 year and can be renewed for an equal period after approval of the annual report.
Scholars are expected to teach some courses, according to the needs of the Mathematics Department, being responsible for no more than one course per semester.

1. Curriculum vitae with a list of publications and other academic activities.
2. Research project.
