The Congress is organized at the University of Campinas by mathematicians of UNESP, UNICAMP, USP and CERGMIA. It is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Hebe de Azevedo Biagioni who left us in June 2003. She strongly contributed to the development of this research field, in Brazil from 1983 to 2003.
