In a few days a new version of GêBR suite, 0.9.16, will be released. There are so many new remarkable features, that we have decided to introduce them in a sequence of posts until the actual release.

To start with a big one, it has been added basic support to submit and query jobs on clusters managed by Moab. As stated in Cluster Resources webpage,

Moab Cluster Suite is an intelligent management middleware that provides simple Web-based job management, graphical cluster administration and management reporting tools.

Moab infrastructure is widely  used across the world by organizations like IBM, Total E&P USA, Boeing, CERN, Fermilab and several universities, among others. Moab is also the engine behind Netuno, the Applied Geophysics Research Net Cluster, one of the most powerful clusters available for research in Latin America.

To GêBR users, submit jobs and recover their status from such clusters will be as easy as on regular desktops.
