I am an Assistant Professor at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) since October of 2014. I received my bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 2005 and my PhD degree in Mathematics in 2010  both from UNICAMP. From 2010 to 2012 I had a postdoc position at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). During the year of 2013 I was a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). In 2014, I spent nine months as a postdoc at the University of Brasilia (UnB).

The main areas of my research are Analysis and Partial Differential Equations arising from Fluid Dynamics. I am generally concerned with problems related to the existence, uniqueness and regularity of solutions of the Euler and Navier-Stokes equations. I am also interested in the theory of statistical solutions and its application in the mathematical formalization of the theory of turbulence.
