How to get to Campinas
By bus: there is a large frequency of buses from São Paulo's central bus terminal Tietê, from the company Viação Cometa. The travel from São Paulo takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Viação Motta and Viação Cometa among others also offer daily travels from/to Rio de Janeiro.
By Plane: Campinas has an international airport: the "Aeroporto Internacional de Viracopos". General informations can be found in the site: http://www.viracopos.com.br/
By bus from the airports: also, there is a large frequency of buses from Guarulhos or Viracopos airports, from the company VB Transportes.
Workshop bus: São Paulo - Campinas - São Paulo
On Tuesday (August 28), there will be a bus departing from IME / Rua do Matão, 1010 - Praça do Instituto Oceanográfico, USP (at 16:00) to the Hotel Sol Inn Barão Geraldo, Campinas. Cristian Coletti and Fabio Machado will be responsible for reception of the participants. The return will be from Sol Inn to USP, on August 31 at 15:00. If you are interested in taking this bus, please send an e-mail with full name and RG, RNE or Passport number to wsm3 @ ime . unicamp . br, by August 24.
