To aggregate value to GêBR, we have launched the ToSCo Project (Tools for Scientific Computing). This project will host programs which can be used from GêBR, expanding its abilities. Anyone can contribute programs to ToSCo, which will pack and distribute them to GêBR users directly and through GêBR Live DVD.

News about ToSCo Project are expected soon. Wait and see.

Since last release (0.9.14) there is two Debian/Ubuntu repositories for binary packages, one with the most updated version of GêBR with full features for those users with relatively new Debian/Ubuntu installation, and other with a legacy version of GêBR, where some new features were disabled due to unmatched dependencies.

To take full advantage of all features in GêBR 0.9.14 and later is necessary to have Debian Lenny (5.0) or higher, or Ubuntu Intrepid (8.10) or higher. (Click here to read the rest of this entry)
