I would be really grateful if you also post some directions:
* from airport to the centre of Sao Paulo (I will stay near Paulista Avenue for some days prior to the school),
* from Sao Paulo to Campinas

To get to the hotel in São Paulo, in the Av. Paulista area, the best is to take a shuttle run by EMTU compny. It stops on Terminals 1 and 2 and cost 35 Brazilian Reais.
Departure times you find bellow.
One can also take the shutle to Praça da Republica (really downtown) and oce there, take the yellow line of the Metro.
Departures to Av. Paulista.
