Practical Information
How to reach to UNICAMP From Guarulhos International Airport (Cumbica): There are two options. 1. There is a Shuttle Bus Service called “Lira Bus” (also commonly known as CAPRIOLI Bus from its earlier name) that takes directly to Campinas Bus Terminal. The Ticket Agency of this service is on the sidewalk outside the Ground Floor (Arrival Hall) of Terminal 2, WING – C. You need to buy ticket before boarding the bus at the information desk of the Agency. The price is R$ 34.00 (Brazilian Real) and takes almost 2 hours to reach Campinas. This serves everyday (including week-ends and holidays) with the following schedule: Guarulhos to Campinas: 6:30 8:00 9:00 10:30 12:00 14:00 16:00 17:30 18:45 20:00 21:30 23:00 00:30 Campinas to Guarulhos: 4:15 5:30 6:15 7:15 9:00 10:15 12:15 13:45 15:15 16:15 17:15 18:30 20:00 From the Campinas Bus Terminal you can take a Taxi to your hotel/UNICAMP. Taxi fare is around R$ 40.00 to R$ 45.00 depending on the hour.
2. The next option is to take a Taxi. The price of Taxi is about R$ 250 to R$ 300. From Viracopos International Airport: There are also two options. 1. There is a Shuttle Bus Service called “Lira Bus” (also commonly known as CAPRIOLI Bus from its earlier name) that takes directly to Campinas Bus Terminal. The Ticket Agency of this service is located in the left side before Exit door in the Arrival Hall. You need to buy ticket before boarding the bus at the information desk of the Agency. The price is R$ 9.00 (Brazilian Real) and takes almost 30 minutes to reach Campinas.To find the schedule of Lira Bus, please click HERE. From the Campinas Bus Terminal you can take a Taxi to your hotel/UNICAMP. Taxi fare is around R$ 40.00 to R$ 45.00 depending on the hour.
2. The next option is to take a Taxi. The cost of Taxi from Viracopos Airport to Barão Geraldo/UNICAMP is around R$ 110.00 to R$ 120.00. From Campinas Bus Terminal: Take a taxi or city bus. Taxi fare is around R$ 40.00 to R$ 45.00 depending on the hour. If you decide to take city bus either you can take Bus Number 3.32 (Schedule) that takes directly to UNICAMP (serves only in working days) or you can take Bus Number 3.31 to Barão Geraldo Bus Terminal from where you can transfer to Bus Number 3.32 to get to UNICAMP. Be careful, to take Bus 3.31 you need to cross a street in front of the Campinas Bus Terminal.
