Víctor H. Lachos has completed his PhD's program in Octuber 2004 under the guidance of Professor Heleno Bolfarine in the Departmental of Statistics of São Paulo University (USP). He completed also his Master's program at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 2002 under the guidance of Professor Filidor Vilca. Worked for two year in Bayes Forecast - Brasil which offer services in areas as Business Intelligence and Forecast Process. His Statistical interests are Generalized Linear Models, Time Series analysis, Statistical Computing and Statistic Theory. His current scientific research interests are on the field of ASYMMETRIC LINEAR MODELS. In particular, the study of skew normal distribution.
