CURRENT PROJECTS

Participant on a research group on Multi-Domain, multi-model methods for aerodynamics and aeroacoustics, an NSF-HPCC funded group that includes Profs. David Keyes ODU University- Virginia), Xiao-Chuan Cai (University of Colorado at Boulder), Alex Pothen (ODU University - Virginia), David P. Young (BOEING), Hafiz Atassi (Notre Dame), Olof Widlund (New York University). My interest in the short term within this group is in Domain Decomposition Methods for the Helmholtz equation in two or three dimension, on unbounded domains.

Part of an effort with Olof Widlund (New York University) and Einar Rønquist of Nektonics, Boston, MA, in improving the comercial version of the spectral element CFD code of Nektonics. We are currently in the experimental phase of the project, which should be concluded until the summer 97.
