Professor Antonio Moretti

Professor Moretti got a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science in 1980 and a Master's Science in Applied Mathematics in 1984, both from State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). In 1987, he went to the city of Atlanta, Georgia, USA to study at Georgia Institute of Technology(GTech). He got a Master's Science in Operations Research in 1989 and finished his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering in 1992. He is a professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics at UNICAMP since 1981. His main research's interests are in the area of combinatorial optimization problems and theirs tools to solve them : Tabu Search, Genetic Algorithm, Simulated Annealing and Ant Colony Optimization.
